Allergology

In recent years, allergology has become increasingly important in paediatric and adolescent medicine.

Allergies can cause a large number of illnesses including:

• Asthma
• Allergic rhinitis
• Food intolerance
• Eczema
• Urticaria (hives)
• Bronchitis

There is often also chronic coughing. Our paediatric allergologist (specialising in allergies in childhood and adolescence) Dr. med. Beate Kevekordes-Stade will be pleased to advise you in detail about the meaning of your child’s allergy and show you the latest treatment concepts in accordance with treatment guidelines including allergological clinical pictures and specific immunotherapies.

Practices include individual therapy plans for allergy prevention, allergy elimination, nutrition counselling for food allergies and allergy-related consultation on career choices.
